Just like in real-world Florida, Leonida has a massive python problem. These aren't your average garden snakes. We are talking about 15-foot invasive monsters that eat alligators for breakfast. In the Grassrivers , you are not at the top of the food chain.

Pythons don't chase; they wait. High grass is a death trap. If you step on one, it will latch on and coil instantly. 🐍

If you get grabbed, expect a panic-inducing Quick Time Event (QTE). You'll need to mash buttons to pry the snake off before your health (or stamina) hits zero.
Economy & Hunting
The invasive nature of these reptiles has created a micro-economy in the swamps.
- Skinning: Just like RDR2, high-quality snake skins can be harvested and sold to traders or roadside stands for cash.
- Python Challenge: Expect "Stranger Missions" or random events where locals challenge you to hunt a specific number of snakes to thin the population.
