GTA 6 is officially set in the state of Leonida, inspired by the real-world state of Florida. This has been confirmed in both Trailer 1 and Trailer 2, as well as through multiple screenshots released by Rockstar Games.

The game’s centerpiece is Vice City, a neon-soaked metropolis returning from previous GTA titles, now reimagined as part of a broader, fully explorable state. The map includes beaches, swamps, forests, rural towns, and industrial zones beyond the city limits.
