Will GTA 6 Support Roleplay Servers?

Current Status & Rockstar’s Stance

As of now, Rockstar Games has not confirmed native roleplay support for GTA 6. While the company has historically tolerated unofficial roleplay servers for GTA 5 through platforms like FiveM and RageMP, these were never officially integrated into the base game or GTA Online.

In August 2023, Rockstar Games took a major step by officially acquiring Cfx.re, the team behind FiveM (GTA 5) and RedM (Red Dead Redemption 2) roleplay communities. This acquisition signaled a shift toward recognizing and supporting these communities more directly.

Rockstar described this as a way to support the "creative community’s efforts" and hinted at future collaboration, but explicitly stated no announcements were being made yet regarding GTA 6 roleplay support.
