In an era where Fortnite and Call of Duty let everyone play together, GTA 6 remains a question mark. As of today, Rockstar Games has not announced crossplay support between PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Historically, Rockstar keeps their player bases separated ("Walled Gardens"). However, Cross-Progression(transferring your save character between consoles) is a feature they have supported recently via the Rockstar Social Club.
