Why Was GTA 6 Delayed?

Rockstar Games has a history of delaying titles, and GTA 6 is no exception. The shift from "Fall 2025" to November 19, 2026 boils down to one thing: Quality Control.
With the massive expectations resting on Leonida, Rockstar is avoiding the industry trend of releasing unfinished, buggy games (we all remember Cyberpunk 2077 ). Take-Two Interactive has stated that the delay ensures the game meets the "unmatched standards" of the franchise.
Historical Context
This isn't new. Every major Rockstar title in the last decade has seen delays to ensure quality:
GTA V (Delayed by 4 months)
RDR 2 (Delayed twice)
GTA VI (Fall 2025 → Nov 2026)
